Ask your referring clinician and imaging center whether your prescribed examination requires a 3T scanner. MRI is used to evaluate soft tissues such as muscles, tendons, and ligaments; see RadiologyInfo’s overview of musculoskeletal MRI for general information.
Our Arizona equipment inventory includes 1.5T MRI systems and 0.3T open MRI systems. Open MRI is available at Scottsdale, Peoria, and Tucson–Campbell. A 0.3T scanner is not a 3T scanner.
If your order specifies 3T MRI or a specialized protocol, call before booking so our team can confirm the requirements and availability. For Texas appointments, contact the center directly to confirm scanner type and field strength.
Call 844-641-2111 or visit our Locations directory. Share your imaging order and any comfort concerns when scheduling.
