How does the Spintech Protocol Detect Micro-hemorrhages in Mild Tbi?

Our SpinTech MRI TBI protocol detects micro-hemorrhages by utilizing a specialized multi-sequence imaging strategy that is significantly more sensitive than conventional MRI. While standard scans can miss up to 50% of cerebral micro-bleeds, we use high-sensitivity sequences to identify the subtle markers of mild traumatic brain injury.

The detection process relies on two primary advanced techniques:

  • Susceptibility Weighted Imaging (SWI): This sequence is exquisitely sensitive to hemosiderin, a blood breakdown product that remains in the brain after a hemorrhage. These tiny bleeds appear as dark foci that are often invisible on standard scans.
